Clarrie Parker (67) who retired recently had been with the Company since 1944.
He worked in the Plating Shop under Mr. M Price, but had been in the Black Dip section. Canley, for the past ten years. Mr A. Peacock, foreman, presented him with a French mantel clock from his workmates. Clarrie specialises in dahlias and chrysanthemums in his garden at Bedworth.
