Richard Dimbleby recently visited the Standard factories in connection with his “Down your Way” programme.
Recordings were made by Mr Les. Rogers, of Coventry, Chief Tester; Mrs. Hilda Leeson, of Coventry, a member of the finishing department staff; and Ronnie Bland, of Wellingborough, an apprentice.
The programme was broadcast on Sunday, 3rd October.
