A Triumph Herald Coupe in 5 Minutes – an Update

Left to Right: John Whitall, Roy Fitt, Arwyn Evans, Brian Spencer.
“The Herald was assembled on stage as part of the Albert Hall launch with the demonstration being so successful that it was repeated at various venues around the U.K. and in Paris, Brussels and Geneva. (…and the USA, South Africa and Australia – ED)
You would imagine that the Herald would be ‘wrapped in cotton wool’ in between demonstrations but with a couple of small tweaks it was driven around the U.K. and Europe.
The 2 minute tweaks involved fitting a connection to the main fuel tank, as a small auxiliary tank was used in the demo for safety reasons plus adding a couple more bolts between body and chassis.
