Joan Thornley secretary to Mr. J. H. Chatham, Advertising Manager, and with 12 years’ Company service, received nursery gifts.

Popular Joan had worked in Spares, and for the Company solicitor, before joining Publicity. On behalf of her many friends, Mr. Chatham made the presentation of a pram, nursery high-chair, pram set, and a delightful gold charm — a stork.
